What is the difference between a pergola and a parasol?
A pergola is a permanent or semi-permanent garden structure that provides shade and defines an outdoor living area. A parasol is a portable, freestanding or table-mounted umbrella ideal for flexible shade on patios and decking.
Are your pergolas suitable for the UK climate?
Yes. Our pergolas are built to withstand British weather conditions, including wind and rain. Many models feature water-resistant canopies and powder-coated aluminium frames for long-lasting durability.
Do you deliver pergolas and parasols across the UK?
Yes, we offer UK-wide delivery on all pergolas and parasols. Larger structures are delivered via a specialist courier with scheduled delivery slots for your convenience.
What size parasol do I need for my garden table?
As a general guide, your parasol should be at least 1 metre wider than your table on each side. For a 4-seater table, a 2.5–3m parasol is typically ideal. For larger dining sets, consider a 3.5m or cantilever parasol for full coverage.
Can I leave my pergola or parasol outside all year round?
Most of our parasols come with protective covers and should be stored or covered during winter months. Our aluminium pergolas are designed for year-round use, though we recommend closing the louvres or canopy during heavy storms.
